Current legislation gives sufficent protection at this point in time.

What steps will you take to end homelessness in Auckland?

Commit to a ready-to-rent program that supports whānau in Emergency and Transitional housing to pathway into private housing.

Meaningful enforcement

If elected, would you take steps to tackle persistent bad landlords who do not meet their obligations to renters in your area? If so, what?

It is all about personalities – there is nothing like every renter is bad and every landlord is good. They need to respect each other and the property.
